43 Magazine - Issue 004 - May-Oct 2014

by 43 Magazine

43 Magazine is an independent, non-profit, skateboard magazine published by New York-based photographers Allen Ying and Cole Giordano.

Each issue is a thing of beauty, filled with Allen’s large, gorgeous photos, and this forth issue in particular is special because they feature work by Danilo Parra, a Chilean/American director, photographer, and skateboarder working in New York. In the interview he tells Allen the sketchy situations he's been around while working on music videos and documentary, the unconventional drugs he's worked with, and the silent retreat he went on.

The magazine also unveils interviews by Anthony G. Pappalardo and Adam Salo with Ryan Lay and Yonnie Cruz and features photographs by Anthony Acosta, Bryan Derballa, Jonathan Mehring, Eric Palozzolo, Aaron Smith, Cameron Strand, Zander Taketomo, and Xeno Tsarnas.

The magazine is printed in the United States by Villanti, a green energy certified printer, on new leaf imagination, a 100% post consumer waste paper, with soy-free and petroleum-free vegetable based inks.
