Elsa - Cooper Square
by Guy Aroch
Digital archival print
With his documentary-style photographs, New York-based photographer Guy Aroch creates quietly provocative images. In his series, Elsa, which was displayed at Milk Gallery in August 2012, Aroch made Swedish model Elsa Hosk his muse in a series that combined wanderlust, sensuality, and New York City grit. Intimate, saturated, and seductive, these images showcase Hosk’s irresistible beauty and Aroch’s masterful eye.
Aroch gives old school vibes to Elsa's fresh face in this black and white portrait taken from the series. Done up in an iconic 60's beehive, a contemplative Elsa stares into the distance.
